Join Environmental Resources Management staff who will lead an inclusive sensory-based guided tour that is open to everyone but is targeted towards people with cognitive and physical disabilities as well as young children.
The tour will include visits to five stations, each dedicated to a different sense or topic - touch, sound, smell, gopher tortoises and the animals that live in their burrows, and the role of fire in Florida plant communities. The 0.7-mile walk will be on an accessible, 5-foot-wide path.
Please bring binoculars (optional), water, appropriate clothing (hat and closed-toed shoes/boots) and sun screen. Restrooms are available at the adjacent Jupiter Community Park.
