10.00am-10.30am - University Life – Sheffield Hallam University
It can be whatever you want it to be, but for the most part students split their time between studying, taking part in other aspects of university life (such as clubs, societies and volunteering), socialising, and part-time work. Each individual has their own priorities and experiences – it’s about taking advantage of the opportunities that are available and balancing study, leisure and work. If you get the balance right it can be a challenging, but an immensely enjoyable lifestyle.

10:45am-11.15am – Student Finance and Budgeting – Leeds Beckett University
Sometimes the hardest part of university life can be the money. Find out about budgeting and the student finance options available to you. This session is a must if you’re planning on going away to university.

11.30am -12.00pm – Benefits of Higher Education – Bishop Grosseteste University
Unsure about the benefits of higher education? Bishop Grosseteste University will explain the benefits of going to university and how it can help you go further in your career.

1.00-1.30pm – ‘SEE’ The Employable You - University Centre
Delivered by our University Centre, this workshop will help you to discover the skills you need to progress into employment. The workshop will involve discussing and reflecting on your current skills and will help you to look at ways of developing your employability skills whilst a student at North Lindsey College.
