This course covers how to be a helpful assistant during an emergency at a home or birth center birth (community birth). This course is designed for the New Student Midwife, Birth Assistant or any other support person attending Community Birth. Doulas welcome! We will cover warning signs of an emergency and how we can assist the Midwife during an emergency. DONA CEU's pending!

Lead instructor for this course:
Jessica Swan LM, CPM. Jessica has a Masters in Midwifery, she is an active Midwife at a busy birth center in Kirkland, WA. She is also a member of the Adjunct faculty in the Midwifery department at Bastyr University.
