CALL FOR VISUAL ARTISTS / CALL FOR PERFORMING ARTISTS
The Indiana Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is looking for artistic people with an interest in social justice to volunteer their artistic skills and talents in an effort to raise awareness of the impact of oppressive government policies on average Americans. The Arts & Culture Working Group of the campaign is reaching out to all artists seeking a role in the campaign.
Sign makers, screen printers, printmakers, painters, carpenters, designers, artisans, craftspeople, woodworkers, and more.
Actors, singers, storytellers, spoken word artists, musicians, choirs, dancers, puppeteers and more.
Tens of thousands of people across the country will challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality. In May we are planning for a ‘40-day season’ of political actions and events beginning on Sunday, May 13, 2018, (Mother's Day), through Thursday, June 21, 2018.
A mass meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, Northwood Christian Church, 4550 Central Ave, Indianapolis 46205, 2 - 4:30 p.m.
Please respond by messaging me on Facebook or by emailing me to be a part of the Arts & Culture Working Group. You can be as involved or less involved as your schedule allows.
