We will be bearing witnes to animals being sold as commodities at Norwich Livestock Market.
We will bear witness, document and recognise the animals as sentient beings and not as 'numbers' or 'stock' being sold at market.
We will raise awareness regarding auction houses and the cruelty that the animals are sold into, whether this be to farmers for a life of enslavement and abuse, or sent direct to slaughter via the auction house.
Auction houses are often a forgotten element when considering an animal’s short life when reared for 'food'.
We will bear witness to the animals as they arrive at the market.
We encourage people to take photos and videos to share on social media and educate the public.
The nearest parking to the site is a B & Q car park that is next door to the site.
The nearest train station is Norwich. Lifts will be available for pick up and drop off from the station if needed.
If anyone would like to attend but cannot get the transport, please post in the event page as there may be people attending who will offer you a lift.
Please read the Save Movement Code of conduct and the cow code of conduct before attending.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
