This year's Louder Than A Bomb Festival's Town Hall will be on the topic of "Safe Spaces, Safe Schools." We have a phenomenal panel of passionate, dedicated community members lined up to speak! Of these are Congressman Ted Deutch, who continues to be an active and engaged voice for our community; one of our bluapple C.O.R.E. members and student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Ramis Hashmi; Executive Director of the bullying prevention organization Be Strong, Ashleigh Cromer; Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Kidsafe Foundation, Cherie Benjoseph, LCSW, who will be giving a presentation; teacher of the year and poetry club sponsor of Miami Norland High School, Precious Symonette; and a local psychologist, who will be giving a presentation on the tools of resiliency. The presentation and panel will be followed by a Q&A. Please come out and support this important discussion, and bring the resilient youth, friends, coworkers, family, and community members you know!
Monday, April 9th, from 6:30-8:30pm
