We are happy to announce the ^yukwan^steke ne ukwehuwehneha Language Symposium May 4th and 5th in Oneida, Wisconsin! The activities that will take place at the Symposium will be keynote presentations, panels, workshops, demonstrations, language lessons and social dancing. We will use a traditional indigenous food menu for the event to educate our community on the importance of food sovereignty. The Symposium will be a destination to hear our languages being spoken and the Apprentices will get exposure to different teaching techniques. It will increase community awareness of language revitalization efforts and provide a meeting place for emerging language teachers to increase their skills and abilities. If you are interested in registering and being surrounded by our beautiful languages or you are interested in presenting please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and we will be happy to help!
