Last May the American bison officially became the national mammal of the United States. On November 4th join us in celebrating this amazing national mammal! There will be exciting opportunities to learn more about this iconic species at interactive stations throughout zoo including art, face painting, a photo station and more. Learn about the significance of bison for the Blackfeet nation and the Iinii Initiative through storytelling and other active events.

If you want to Take Action for Bison before this date use these images to “Bisonize” your social media profile: http://www.beardsforbison.org/img/profile_photo.jpg; http://www.beardsforbison.org/img/cover_photo.jpg and let your friends know that you are celebrating National Bison Day on November 4th!
