Get out and explore YOUR park! The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be conducting a ranger-led wildflower walk on Friday, April 13, at 10 a.m. (ET). Join Ranger Rick Ryan for a moderate out and back hike of 5 miles total along the Cumberland Trail section to Alley Ford. Along the way, accompanied by the park’s botanist, we will discuss the local wildflowers in bloom, plant communities, and forest ecology. This is a spectacular time of year to witness nature’s grand showing of flora.
Participants should meet at the Rock Creek Campground parking area.
