Join in an evening to proclaim May as Mental Health Awareness Month! This special program is dedicated to highlighting the many activities our community has cultivated in an effort to reduce stigma, increase awareness surrounding mental illness, and celebrate wellness and recovery. The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders will present a proclamation, followed by an awards ceremony for the “You Make a Difference” community advocate honorees, artists in “The Voice” Youth Creative Expression Contest, and the 5th grade winners of the Calendar Art Contest.
Refreshments and the NAMI Provider Fair begin at 4:30pm. The program will begin at 5:30pm.
