Two seasoned storytellers come together in an evening of masterful Dastangoi storytelling. Mehra & Naqvi perform two satirical & radical short stories of strong females who refuse to be cowed down or tamed; Ismat Chugtai's 'Gharwali' and 'Mughal Baccha'.

Gharwali, an inimitable take on marriage and sexual liberation, tells the story of Lajjo a woman of precise pleasures. Mughal Baccha tells a tragic tale of a difficult marital life of dark-skinned man and fair woman.
