OERTHER’S is hosting Susan Betz, local author and herb expert on Saturday, April 28 from 11:00-1:00. Susan will be giving a talk about her latest book “Neighboring with Nature” and how you can use plants and herbs for healthy living , flavoring and fragrance. She will have copies of her book for sale.

Susan will also be here on May 24th from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Susan Betz is a Master Gardener, author and garden communicator, who has specialized in herbs and native plants for over 35 years. She is a charter member of the Michigan Herb Associates, International Herb Association, Garden Writers Association, and the Ecological Landscape Alliance. A life member of The Herb Society of America, Susan is the 2018 recipient Helen de Conway Little Medal of Honor, awarded to a HSA member who has made outstanding contributions to the society or to the world of horticulture in general. She lives and gardens in Jonesville, Michigan and is available for local, regional, and national speaking engagements.
