Friday, May 4, is First Responders Night at Southside Speedway! Our region’s finest first responders will be at the front ticket entrance in the parking lot for a pre-race fan meet & greet at 6:45 p.m. Then at 7:45 p.m., just before the race, the emergency vehicles will be on track for parade, with sirens on! All first responders in attendance will receive a discounted $14 admission ticket to the race. Please show an official badge or ID card at the ticket window to receive the discount.
An exciting night of short track racing under the lights will include six divisions of race cars: Late Models, Modifieds, Grand Stocks, UCARS, Legends and Bandoleros. Front gates open at 6:00 p.m. for qualifying and racing gets underway around 8:00 p.m.
