View the latest exhibit at “The Gallery at Towngate” featuring the work of award-winning artist Cheryl Carnegie.
Cheryl’s education in Landscape Architecture greatly influences her photography. Her work seeks natural patterns and structures in the landscape and in the many versions of our imitation of its splendor. She captures the patterns, colors, texture, depth and structure of plants, the sculptural qualities of trees and the structure of their placement in nature, as well as the focal elements in our architecture and everyday objects that reflect nature’s patterns.
Cheryl is a self-taught photographer and a native of the Ohio Valley. She worked in wedding and portraiture for many years both locally and in North Florida. Cheryl currently resides in Morgantown, WV where she works with the West Virginia Botanic Garden and as a freelance graphic designer.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Have a drink on us. Wine and craft beer will be available. Enjoy some light foods, too. After that, you can go upstairs and watch some independent film shorts from The Pittsburgh Filmmakers on the Towngate Cinema big screen. Meet our staff and explore our theater. Learn more about the many arts and entertainment events that take place year-round at Towngate.
At 8 p.m., Towngate’s Left of Center Improv Players take the stage.
All events are free and open to the public.

Sponsored by Main Street Bank.
