Chod is an ancient Tibetan meditation practice that is sung to the accompaniment of a special shamanic drum, silver bell, and bone trumpet. It is used for healing of body, mind, spirit, and the surrounding environment. For some, it is a concert of rare timeless music, for others a peaceful spiritual journey. For the yogi or yogini, it is a path to enlightenment.
The literal meaning of Chod is to cut, and what we want to cut is our obsession with our ego, that grasping habit that is never satisfied. Maybe a better translation is ‘release’.
We can release our inner judgments, chattering concepts, and our constant busy-ness.
All you will need to do is show up, relax, breathe, and release.
Bringing a mat to lie on and a small pillow may be useful
od inspires us to step into our own spaciousness, the enlightened awareness beyond ego.
BREATH AND LET GO - It’s that simple!
