#var:page_name# cover

We aim to provide a platform for female music industry practitioners to showcase their talent and ability which was first achieved through The F Word: A Gig For All, Made By Women headlined by Stealing Sheep in 2017.

Following this success, we The F Word are hosting a music industry forum in partnership with Cornwall Music Network, using the expertise of our all female panel to support, educate, engage and connect Cornwall's music community.

The event will address the current challenges faced by local practitioners, as well as the wider industry issues. Panelists include:

Tanya Brittain - Songwriter, Looe Music Festival organiser and Writer for Cornwall Today,

Holly Williams - Head of Marketing and Creative at Island Records,

Natasha Maddison - Manager to the legendary Maceo Parker (best known for his work with Prince and James Brown),

Maxie Gedge - Communications Manager for the PRS Foundation

Sarah McQuaid - Critically Acclaimed Artist

Sophie Sweatman - PR and A & R for Aadvark Records.

This will be followed by a networking session bringing those who are passionate about music together, to share experiences, build connections and create opportunities. By engaging directly with our audience, we are identifying their needs and building them into the event, making it a rewarding experience for each individual.

There will be live performances by:

Lily Lyons
Stone Roots
Saskia Maxwell
