Join us for a fun and free day out at Old Farm, Strawberry Hill when families will have the opportunity to spend time together participating in hands-on activities.
Go back in time to play old-fashioned games, wander through the house, follow a discovery trail or create a ‘masterpiece’.
Archaeological discoveries have given us an understanding of what life may have been like when early Albany Government Resident Sir Richard Spencer and wife Ann lived here with their ten children. Since 1857 the farm has been home to other families who have also left their mark.
Upon arrival, be sure to book one of the limited spaces for children aged 5 – 13 years to try their hand at being an archaeologist. Archaeological digs will be at 10:30am and 2:30pm.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the historic gardens for the day.
