For those concertgoers not familiar with the Grand Western Tour, it is a sextet of musicians from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music that goes on tour through much of the Central West each year under the direction of the esteemed David Miller OAM.
This year David has excelled himself by bringing to Harden a diverse range of instrumentalists including a harp, bassoon, oboe, clarinet, flute and piano. They are bringing with them 32 major and smaller works from which they will choose the night’s program. As always, the artists have already gained extensive concert experience much of it overseas with internationally famous music organization in Europe and America.
This concert will be inspirational and for the modest cost of $15, the people of Harden and district can enjoy these outstanding young musicians. Do not miss this once a year opportunity to hear the finest our young musicians have to offer.
The concert is at the Old Murrumburrah Courthouse on Thursday, May 3rd, at 6.30pm.
