April 10th is National Equal Pay Day and we are unhappy! Why? Because April 10th represents how far into 2018 it takes women to catch up to men's wages earned last year! That's right. Nationally, women earn just 80% of men's wages. In the state of Indiana it's even worse. Women here earn just 74% of what men earn. (This ranks 46th in the nation!) Here in the 8th congressional district, women earn just 70.5%!
To "celebrate" this day, we are hosting The Unhappy Hour to learn, laugh and be inspired.
5:30-7:30 p.m. at Old National Bank Auditorium, 1 N. Main St.
