Through various gentle yoga-like poses we will cultivate the wonderful benefits the mats offer such as helping to reduce stress and tension, promote sleep, promote muscle recovery, increase circulation, relieve back pain, headaches and so much more.
Regular use of the Shakti Mat may help promote blood flow, encourage muscle tension release, help develop postural awareness and help learn to connect with the breath. The mats stimulate various acupressure points on the body to INVIGORATE and RE-ENERGIZE the body and mind. They also help to cultivate resilience by offering an opportunity to learn how to support, encourage and coach ourselves through a difficult and sometimes painful experience.
