About Natalie: Natalie found yoga at the age of thirteen when it was offered as a class at her middle school. She soon noticed the benefits yoga was feeding into her overall mentality - in particular, with the confusing emotions everyone experiences at that age. And with that a bond was formed. It was with breath and stillness she found during practice that she enjoyed so much. With this newfound enthusiasm she started showing more initiative and focus towards yoga which involved practicing at home on her own as well as introducing her mother to yoga. Years later, soon after her high school graduation, Natalie moved to Nashville where she then took up hot yoga. The style was challenging, enduring, and goal oriented. Practicing this style, she noticed the mental benefits as well as an increase in the physical benefits this style has to offer. Upon returning to Louisville to attend U of L she decided to share with her friends yoga and teach a private at home class with them. Teaching them basics and common breath exercises so they could comfortably practice yoga at home or in studios. Finding that she greatly enjoyed teaching and helping her friends with yoga, she knew she had found her calling. Natalie attended Yogaia Yoga School in Louisville, Kentucky and received her 200 hr CYT by Heidi Bartholomew. Natalie has found in her practice that breath, asana, and stillness of the body are her key elements within teaching. She wants to share this rediscovery of mind, body and spirit that she has found within herself.
