Sat-sang, literally “gathering around what is true”, has always been an integral part of the yoga tradition. Satsang is a time for the community to be together: To receive teachings and stories, ask questions of an experienced teacher, and build community with those of like mind and heart. It is so important that it is recognized as one of the three pillars of the yoga tradition, and an essential part of yoga as a pathway to freedom.
In our modern yoga world of drop-in classes, this gathering of sacred community and its transformative power have largely been forsaken. Ben is excited to offer a monthly sat-sang and share from his experience of yoga in support of our community. Satsang’s may include dharma talk, q + a, meditation, chanting and more.
These teachings are offered in the spirit of dana, or generosity. As such, satsangs are donation based, with a suggested donation of $10-15. All are welcome.
Mark your calendar for the next Sat-sang on December 14th: Yoga and the Search for Fulfillment.
This is a donation-based event. Suggested donation of $10-$15.
