Special program featuring live birds of prey, including a Barred Owl, who is dependent on watery habitats. This program will also explore unique water aspects of the Open Door Bird Sanctuary property.

Come enjoy a unique experience with of birds of prey in a natural environment! Be awed and inspired by close encounters with raptors at our 1pm program. Many "hands on" artifacts. Feel the curve of an owl's wing, the sharpness of a hawk's talon, or the weight of a Eurasian Eagle Owl. Visit with the birds on display. With 34 acres of serene landscape, 3 hiking trails highlighting different ecosystems, and a picnic area, you can make it an afternoon to remember! Adults $7, kids 5-12 $4, 4 and under free. Open the the public every Saturday noon to 4pm, from June 23rd thru September 1st, Sunday July 1st and Sunday September 2nd.
