Earth Day Celebration
Sunday, April 22nd @1pm-4pm
Oregon City Public Library Community Room

Join us for an out-of-this-world Earth Day Celebration! NASA Rocket Scientist and Oregon City resident, Kim Foster, will be here to take us on a visual journey to outer space as he recounts stories of his work with NASA and the Hubble Telescope.

Our celebration will include:

a presentation and Q&A session with Mr. Foster
Earth Day STEM activities and experiments
a plastics recycling drop-off
and the finale... [drum roll]... a build-your-own bottle rocket launch!

This year’s Earth Day theme is End Plastic Pollution.

Come learn about space rockets, outer space, and our planet Earth; plus, create cool objects out of recycled plastic. Be sure to bring some plastic bags and bottles to recycle. Do your part to keep our planet beautiful and diverse!
