Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) Family Science Night

Monday, April 23, 2018, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Girl Scouts are taking over OMSI and we’ll have the museum all to ourselves! Bring your family and friends to explore popular exhibit halls, as well as the Physics and Life Science Labs. You'll even get to explore OMSI's Feature Exhibit, Robots! You'll see how robots move and what they do! Each Girl Scout will get a fun patch and may be able to complete steps toward earning a skill-building badge.

Parking is included in the cost of admission. As we cannot accommodate all food needs at this event, please eat before the event or you can bring a brown bag dinner and a small dining space will be provided.

Activity Requirements and Ratio Information
This is a community event. All attendees must register for the event.

If attending as a troop or Girl Scout group, the correct girl/adult ratio must be followed (ratios can be found in 2016/2017 Volunteer Essentials on page 65). Your Girl Scout group must have at least two unrelated, approved adult volunteers present at all times. To be an approved volunteer you are required to have a current Girl Scout membership and have an eligible background check to attend. At least one of the approved adult volunteers will be required to complete the trainings listed below.

Adults and family members attending, bringing only their own Girl Scout to the event, are not required to have a current Girl Scout membership to register for the activity or have completed a background check. They are not allowed to serve as an adult in Girl Scout girl/adult ratios, and may not supervise other Girl Scouts.

Volunteer trainings required (GS101; Troop Safety and VE Modules or Volunteer Essentials in Action; Grade-Level Training; Day Trips)

Parking
There is limited parking at the facility and street parking nearby. Parking cost is included in admission. Carpooling is encouraged.

This is a Girl Scout activity for registered members, their family and friends.

Registration closes April 16, 2018, one (1) week before the activity is scheduled.

Cancellation and Refund Information
Refund deadline is April 16, 2018, request for cancellation must be submitted via email to activities@girlscoutsosw.org by this date to receive a full refund.
