Come join us on Saturday, March 31st (11AM to 1PM) for a planting event and more info on the Easton community garden!
We encourage children ages 4-12 to bring their own small container (though some will be provided as well) and come start some seeds with us!
This event will teach children basic information on what plants need to grow and how to take care of them.
We will provide the seeds and soil, you just need to bring a container, we recommend a cardboard egg carton cut in half so they can be directly planted into a pot or the ground.
Once the plants are large enough, you can plant them outside so your child/children can continue to watch their plants grow throughout the summer!
Suggested donation for this activity = $3
Don't have a place to plant outside this summer?
Ed Hands will also be there to provide parents with more information on the Easton Community Garden.
Before or After you plant, we encourage you to visit the Easton Farmers Market for the best in local produce and products!
Market Hours are Every Saturday 10AM to 2PM.
