Join in the conversation unstitching the myths of the fashion industry and sharing ideas for thinking differently about fashion.

Of the millions of people employed in the fashion industry, 80% are women. On 24 April 2013, 1,138 of those workers were killed and a further 2,500 were injured when the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh collapsed - the fourth largest industrial disaster in history.

That’s when Fashion Revolution was born. The global scale pro-fashion protest to demand greater transparency in the fashion supply chain.

Unstitched is the local response, looking at how we, in Dunedin, can use our voice and our power to change the story of our clothes.

This casual, positive meet up with Fi Clements and Fiona Jenkin of Just Atelier, will give you the chance to share your ideas, as well as gain inspiration for the next step you can take to make the world a better place, one garment at a time.
