As part of an ongoing walkability study of South 13th Street, the City of Omaha, MAPA, and One Omaha will host a Block talk in the Dahlman Neighborhood. A Block Talk is a facilitated resident walk that provides residents an opportunity to measure and provide input on the walkability, accessibility, and livability of a neighborhood. Following the walk, neighbors will have a chance to recap and begin an action plan for projects, programs, and policy initiatives to improve these elements.
This event will begin at OutrSpaces at 6PM with an introductory presentation. The walk will start at 6:20PM and end back at No More Empty Cups around 7:15PM. We will breakdown and discuss actionable solutions and improvements from 7:15PM to 8:00PM.
