Specifically designed for beginners, Power Yoga Basics is a warm, safe environment where everyone else is new to yoga too.
Over the course of this workshop, you are given a brief background of yoga, taken through the foundational postures, and receive alignment cues, emphasizing on what is most important. Breath, the foundation of the practice, is explained and practiced throughout the workshop.
Questions are encouraged and serve the help others in the class gain a deeper understanding as well. Arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins. Wear exercise clothing that allows for comfortable movement. Avoid eating at least 1 hour prior. Bring water, towel, and yoga mat. (Mats are also available at the studio)
