Well, this is gonna be real fun…
We love all things Spanish here at P&V and so do our friends over at Continental Deli. So we thought, “Hey, why don’t we celebrate our love for all things Spanish together one night and have 20 souls join us for an evening of cured meats, tinned seafood, cheese, vermouth, sherry and wine?”
So that’s what we’re doing!
In 2015, Porteño’s Elvis Abrahanowicz and Joe Valore tag-teamed with colleagues Jesse Warkentin and Michael Nicolian of Bodega and Gardel’s Bar to open their realised vision of the ideal neighbourhood deli. Since then, Continental Deli has won a slew of awards and quickly become a Sydney institution. Specialising in cracking cocktails and hard-to-get-your-hand-on small goods from near and far, a seat on the street, at the bar or upstairs in the bistro is always a guaranteed good time.
On Tuesday 10th April, join P&V’s Matty Hirsch and Continental Deli head honchos Mikey and Jesse for an all-out Spanish session. They’ll wax poetic about a diverse range of food and drink, while you eat and drink it, and hopefully laugh, and learn a little in the process. Or maybe you’ll only laugh a little, but learn a lot. TBC.
Anyway, it’s $55 (plus tax + a pesky booking fee) for 6 drinks and a loosely matched spread of snacks.
