This seven week course is for completely new students of yoga, where the basics of posture work (asana), breath awareness and deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra) are introduced. Attention to body and breath is encouraged to help develop inner awareness. Practices are simple and accessible to all, allowing students of all abilities to try yoga. We close each class by chanting the mantra OM three times.

At the end of this course students are encouraged to join a Beginners Level class. Don’t feel ready? You’re welcome to attend the course as often as you like. It’s also a great way for experienced students to revisit the foundations of their practice.
