Have you noticed how the seasons affect us? Influencing the way our body, energy and mind feel. Since time began, yogis have observed the close relationship between our system and nature. Yoga is intended to take the mind into a natural, internal and steady state.

It is said that most of the yoga poses originated from this observation of animals and the natural world. Many of the asana (yoga poses) and pranayamas (breath practices) also mirror the elements, the Sun and the Moon. What we begin to learn is that the seasons are not separate from us, but that we are in a constant cycle of change, as the natural world around us also changes.

In this morning workshop with Regina Padma Rinchten, learn more about the characteristics of each season and how they link to the elements in nature, our body and the energy flows within us. This deeper understanding will allow you to become more sensitive to the four seasons, enhancing your ability to align with and take advantage of the energy of each season.

Suitable for all but complete beginners, the morning will include asana, pranayama, relaxation and simple meditation practice and will be taught in the Integral Yoga style in which Regina originally trained. It is a gentler practice than her regular Sun Power Yoga classes, making it more accessible to all.
