Revive Civility Initiative at Palms
National Week of Conversation will take place during the week of April 20-28 in communities all across the country. During this week, Americans from many different backgrounds and perspectives will be invited to spend time in conversations with those who have different political or cultural views than themselves. These conversations will take place one-on-one in small groups where the emphasis will be on carefully listening to each other. The goal of the conversations will be to help people learn from each other, build relationships and identify specific things that can be done to bridge the many divisions in our country.
Palms Presbyterian Church is providing activities in support of the National Week of Conversation and we would like to invite you to join in and participate!
Sunday, April 15, 9:30-10:50 am, Rm 126, First Floor
We will have a video showing of the Revive Civility Program held at Palms on February 28. The presentation by Dr. Carolyn Lukensmeyer, the Executive Director of the National Institute of Civil Discourse (https://nicd.arizona.edu/) was inspiring and well received by over 150 attendees. It is a great opportunity for those that missed the February program.
All are welcome. Nursery provided. Questions? Connect with Palms' Disciple Richard Ross at (904) 687-8898.
