This 6-Hour training module is designed to provide a practical understanding of Restorative Yoga, a receptive practice which prioritizes stillness and support. By incorporating props such as yoga blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps it encourages a state of deep rest and the unraveling of mind-body tension.

I’m a woman who feels my deepest appreciation for life when I am attuned to my world. I am most alive, harmonious, and whole when I pay attention to the rhythm and cycles of nature – including my own. I’m content with the simplest of things. I am perfectly ordinary and absolutely divine, all at once.
The catalyst for my teaching is my intuitive sense that I am here to serve. It took a long time for me to clearly see my greatest gifts, but I believe it is my ability to extract beauty and sacredness from life, in ways that are often overlooked. I would like to hold the door open for others to reawaken to the world around them, so that they may enjoy the fullest engagement with this short, sweet life as possible. I believe that all of life, as long as the eyes are wide open, has the capacity to nurture, balance, purify, and restore.
The focus of my work, both on-and-off of the mat is to encourage a full awakening to our present moment experience and connection with the underlying current or FLOW that weaves itself through all of life. My mindfulness-based yoga classes (vinyasa, restorative, and prenatal) explore the meditative rhythm of the breath and it’s relationship to bodily movement to heighten awareness. My outdoor EcoTherapy sessions utilize the power of nature to tune into our evironment in a similar way.
I’m not an expert or master of anything. I’m a devoted practitioner who wants to share the map for my own journey inward. My knowledge comes from a direct experience in life and the sweat of 15 years and 5475 days on my yoga mat, without fail. My professional education includes A degree in Cultural Anthropology with a focus in Cross-Cultural Religions, a 200-hour Yoga Training, sevaral thousand hours of continuing education, 11 years as a yoga teacher and wellness workshop facilitator, 6 years as a Yoga teacher trainer, and 8 years leading international yoga retreats.
