One hour yoga class and discussion on food + yoga philosophy
BYOM (bring your own mat)
Join us on Sunday, April 1st at 9:30AM for our first ever community yoga class at Pansaari! We’ll push the tables aside, roll out our mats, stretch, breathe, and share a space of gratitude together amidst the clamoring of the kitchen and the aromas of cardamom. After class, enjoy a steaming hot cup of chai on us.
The fine print:
Wear comfy clothes.
BYOM - bring your own mat.
Complimentary chai after class.
Space is limited so we'd love if you bought a ticket so we can save you a spot!
Bio: Our friend Sonia Dovedy is certified Iyengar yoga instructor, food blogger, lover of chai, among many other things. She was first introduced to yoga at a very young age, while curiously copying her grandfather as he did his yoga practice every morning. Later, she was fortunate to study under the strict guidance of Shri BKS Iyengar and his family in Pune, India for many years. For Sonia, the practice of yoga generates courage, builds resilience, shields against illness, and cultivates immense joy.
Sonia conducts Iyengar yoga classes at various yoga studios in Washington, DC. She also holds a B.A. in Media Studies from UC Berkeley and a M.A. in Gastronomy from Boston University. When not on the yoga mat, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen, trying out a new restaurant, or journaling about food, health, and Indian philosophy. You can follow her at @soniadovedy and www.bakewithsonia.com.
