“Well I guess it really is better to be lucky than good.” That’s the thought that went through my head after I figured out that I was going to lose to 2017 Parc 1346 NCAA Tournament challenge. Cheerandfootballmom (if that was her real name) chose Gonzaga to get to the championship, and that gave her one more victory than yours truly.
Well, after an off-season of soul searching, I finally figured out were I went wrong and came up with the ultimate solution. I’m going to watch even less college basketball than I did in 2017! That’s right neighbors! Other than a couple of UT games (go Vols!!), I watched absolutely no college basketball this season. And now I’m ready to start collecting rent and taking names!
If you think you’re good enough to beat me, man (or woman) up and join Parc 1346’s 2018 Beat the Manager Bracket Tournament Challenge. Win and you’ll receive a $50 gift card to the area sports bar of your choice…lose and I’m going to take your $50, buy a crown, and be enthroned as “Allan, first of his name and king of all basketball” coronation ceremony on our Parc 1346 Facebook page. Yes people, finally, Facebook will be put to good use! Let’s get it!
