2018 Shakespeare in the Park
The Comedy of Errors
By William Shakespeare
Directed by Mike Risinger
Sponsored by Angeli Hartliep
Show Dates: Memorial Day Weekend; June 9th Performance in Clarksville, TX

This is a fast paced story of a prosperous business man and his servant and the identical brothers of both men, who have arrived in town. Without knowledge of each other’s twin, having been separated as infants, lead the men into a swirl of mistaken identities. Confusion on the part of all is played to great comedic moments thanks to Shakespeare’s quick and witty dialogue packed with puns and word play.
We are updating the setting from Elizabethan town and market to a country club garden party in 1962, all the while keeping the original characters and dialogue.
