The Spring River Run Edition will feature an exciting paddling experience down Parks Creek. Spring is the best time of year to paddle Parks Creek as the water is high and the water moves faster than usual, creating some rapids and waterfalls. We supply lifejackets, paddles and canoes and kayaks - your choice!
Twiggy, the experienced and fun guide behind Cruising Canoes will be leading you on your journey down the Parks Creek. He will also be cooking, taking pictures, answering questions and shuttling you around Hastings County to Potters Settlement Winery for a wine tour and taste testing and to Signal Breweryfor a pint and the live music of The FarSide.

Parks Creek Retreat - Relax, Unwind, Explore
Parks Creek Retreat is a four season retreat + vacation space, located in Roslin Ontario, minutes from the 401, in a world all it’s own.
The three season room is the gathering place of the retreat space, encouraging new connections and strengthen existing ones. Immerse yourself in the hot tub to experience the ultimate in relaxation or sink into conversation and the warmth of the crackling fire on the swing bed or wrap around couch. The flowing waters of Parks Creek is the only soundtrack you will need, but just in case you are in the mood for something else, the custom stereo playing throughout the house and outdoors should quench this desire.
Creekside, you will discover a large dock and gazebo with lounge chairs, as well as swinging chairs and a hammock below the deck of the house. The fire pit is also located beside the creek and since Fall nights are meant for bonfires, star gazing and s’mores, we promise just that!
The inside space boasts 20’ vaulted ceilings with rustic beams, pine boards and floor to ceiling windows and patio doors, along with a stone faced fireplace, living + dining room and a large, modern kitchen, where Andrew will be preparing delicious gourmet meals. The deck overlooking the creek spans the length of the house, and is equipped with a bbq, hightop bar and chairs, as well as a beautiful hand crafted cedar harvest table, with bench seating for 16. The main bath features a walk in granite and glass shower and a jacuzzi tub. Downstairs you will find a theatre room with a projector screen and hundreds of movies to choose from.
Parks Creek Retreat can comfortably accommodate 12 guests in four bedrooms; one with a king size bed, two each with a queen size bed, a bunk room with 4 twin beds and a pull out couch. When booking your space, please be aware that individuals will be sharing accommodations in the bunk room and that couples and friends booking together will be sharing either a king, queen or double bed.
