In 2013, Reid Bruton recorded the Dr. Seuss classic "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" for The Boston Pops holiday album. At The Hollywood Bowl and Walt Disney Concert Hall he has made numerous appearances with both the LA Master Chorale and the LA Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. At LA Opera Reid has sung in more than 75 productions, performing roles in Thaïs, Billy Budd, Salome, Gianni Schicci, Der Rosenkavalier, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Die Zauberflöte, Carmen and La Boheme conducted by Placido Domingo.
An adept singer, his uniquely deep voice can be heard on the soundtracks of over 80 major motion pictures including Avatar, The Matrix, Spider Man, Frozen, The Simpsons Movie, X-Men, Tangled, Oz the Great and Powerful and War of the Worlds (in which John Williams said of Reid"I've never heard notes sung that low.") Among his television credits include appearances on New Girl, The Middle, Dharma & Greg, The Tonight Show, The 2013 Academy Awards and Family Guy. He has also been heard singing back-up for Barbra Streisand, Adele, Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, Danny Elfman, MUSE, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and rapper "50 Cent".
