On Friday, April 13th from 2:00pm-6:00pm, 30 3rd-5th grade elementary students from the Galing Bata After School Program will be coming to our campus. YAYYYYY!! During this event we will be providing them with academic and cultural workshops, angkan (family) and mentors, and fun activities for them to participate in. Come join and be part of their experience here at CAL.
The theme this year is Pulo (Islands). The Philippines, composed of over 7,000 islands, has rich cultures, histories, and abundant natural scenery and resources. Such islands take pride in their distinct heritages and regional identities from their respective islands and provinces. This diversity is apparent in the vast languages, cuisines, dances, songs, stories, etc. We must celebrate this diversity with the Galing Bata elementary students.
