Motive power is expected to be a pair of class 20 locos from and back into London VIctoria, assisted by a pair of GBRF class 73s between Mountfield and Dungeness. A GBRF class 66 features North of London.
Pathfinder Tours are pleased to present this very traditional railtour excursion, covering Southern routes that have not seen regular loco hauled trains for five decades or more, visiting locations that are normally the preserve of freight trains, mostly within the area of the former Southern Region. Not forgetting that the class 20 design was introduced in 1957, so it’s a diamond celebration of this popular locomotive type.
