Imagine a dinner party where every tale spun across the table serves as kindling for the courses to come.
Eat My Heart Out is a storytelling dinner party that pairs live performance with a menu whose design is directly inspired by the stories themselves, resulting in a five course meal of edible metaphors. This unique event is a benefit for West Marin Community Radio, KWMR and is held in the iconic Peace Barn in Bolinas.
This year's storytellers are: David Strathairn, Mark Buell, Vivien Straus, and two more storytellers who will be announced soon. The menu is being designed by Chef Matthew Elias of "The Bodega" for the fourth year.
KWMR is proud and honored to present accomplished character actor and Oscar nominee, David Strathairn, as our premier storyteller this year. Mr. Strathairn, along with fellow storytellers Mark Buell, Vivien Straus, Richard Dillman and Alyssa Tanner,, shall each present a tale to whet the palate for the upcoming course, and inspire the imagination.
KWMR features this signature event for the fifth year, and it's going to be a great one! Produced by transmedia storyteller and actor Eugene Ashton-Gonzalez, this event has sold out every year and we expect it to do so again.
