Peace River resident Kristjanna Grimmelt recently returned from two years as a paid Cuso International volunteer in Honduras. She worked on advocacy campaigns with a local women's rights organization in a context of poverty, violence and human rights violations. She also came to love the Honduras that many don't see: she explored the country’s beautiful beaches, cloud forests and vibrant arts and cultural scene.
