FAMILY PLACE PARENT-CHILD WORKSHOPS – Our Spring 2018 series of four-week workshops for children ages 1-3 with parents/caregivers will take place each Friday during the month of April. All workshops will be held at Peace United Church of Christ, 37 E. Swartzville Rd. (Route 897), Denver.

Dates and times of each session are: Fridays, April 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th from 10:00-11:15 AM. It is recommended that parents and children try to attend all four morning or evening sessions.

Family Place™ is a center for early childhood information, parent education, early literacy, socialization and family support. Each Family Place™ workshop session features art, blocks, books, puzzles, a storytime, puppets and more! Since an integral part of the project is the collaboration between community agencies and the library, there will be resource people from the community on hand to informally answer parenting questions and concerns.

Funding for the Adamstown Area Library’s Family Place™ is made possible by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor.
