Airport After Hours April 11th in Pellston
Regional networking, good food, and the chance to win a travel gift card will await those planning to attend the 15th Annual Airport After Hours at the Pellston Regional Airport. The After Hours will be held Wed. April 11, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Hoppies Landing.
The public is welcome to this multi-community networking function which is hosted by the Air Service Task Force. There is a $7 admission fee that includes hors d’oeuvres provided by Hoppies Landing. A cash bar will also be available. Organizers say no purchase is necessary to be eligible to win the grand prize of a $500 Gift Card for Delta Airlines. The Air Service Task Force is a committee of business leaders representing the chambers of commerce and visitors bureaus of St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Indian River, Harbor Springs, and Petoskey. The mission of the task force is to promote and support the Pellston Regional Airport to assure the highest level of commercial, freight, and general aviation service. The task force has advocated on behalf of the airport for more than 25-years and is responsible for starting and maintaining the free parking program among other things. Proceeds from the Airport After Hours support the work of the task force.
Several sponsors will be on hand at the event including Boyne Golf and Boyne Highlands Resort, Cheboygan Area Visitors Bureau, Costco Wholesale, Mackinac Island Visitors Bureau, Petoskey Area Visitors Bureau, Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry, and the West Michigan Tourist Association. Many of the sponsors will offer door prizes as well.
The Airport After Hours is open to the general public. Hoppies Landing will maintain a seating area for their regular dining customers.
