Pen-Y-Bryn Farm is excited to host a day-long Kersley Cowboy Festival fundraiser Saturday, April 21!
We'll have live entertainment by Hugh McLennan, the voice of "The Spirit of the West," cowboy singer-songwriter Bernadette Ducharme and cowboy poet Bruce Rolph, and there will be lots of great demonstrations and talks throughout the day!
Come cast your vote for People's Choice in our Kersley Cowboy Festival Chili Cook-Off from Noon to 2 p.m., enjoy horseback rides by donation, watch a mounted cowboy shooting demonstration, learn about local groups such as the Back Country Horsemen of BC North Cariboo Chapter, and much more!
There will be a pig roast at 6 p.m. and a saloon with beer from Three Ranges Brewing Co., a veteran-owned brewery in Valemount.
Admission is $10 per person or $25 per family.
*This event is a fundraiser for Lindsay Chung's Wounded Warriors Canada Battlefield Bike Ride, a 600-kilometre bike ride in Bosnia and Croatia that raises money for programs that support serving Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and first responders with PTSD and Operational Stress Injuries and their families.
Thank you for supporting this event!
