This month’s session is brought to us by April Higgins, information and professional studies librarian at Keuka College’s Lightner Library. The information we consume on a day-to-day basis has a significant impact on our civic engagement and political ideals. And yet, Americans’ trust in mass media is at an all-time low. With our access to news moving increasingly to online and social platforms, how does one navigate through the confusing labyrinth of targeted ads, bias, and fake news? Hear a librarian’s take on how to get the best and most trustworthy information, so you can make the best decisions for you, your family, and for all of us. This event is free and open to all.
