002: Mindful Children

*This is a 6 week course that meets every Saturday beginning on May 12 - June 16. (children must be accompanied by an adult)

"Pay attention." "Calm down." These are the directions children often hear from adults, but are the children provided the knowledge to know how? This course delivers a variety of engaging techniques to children in order to develop the power of concentration and increased awareness so they can create a clearer and joy filled mind. By teaching children how their brain works and encouraging them to begin a daily practice, Mindfulness can be life changing. Some of the benefits students have reported are improved self-esteem, calmness and decreased anxiety.
