Graduate Ensemble - Justin Boazman, tenor

Tenor Justin M. Boazman is currently in his first year of the Master of Music program at Converse studying under Dr. Keith Jones. A 2012 graduate of Erskine College, he matriculated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Music. He was most recently seen as Roger Doremus in Converse Opera Theatre’s 2018 production of Lee Hoiby’s Summer and Smoke and as Le Prince Charmant in their 2017 production of Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon. Other performances have included the Opera Theatre’s premiere of David Berry’s Troiades and Erskine College’s production of Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. When Mr. Boazman is not on the Opera Theatre stage, he can be found singing with the Spartanburg Festival Chorus and the First Presbyterian Chamber Singers. He is the Converse Opera Theatre’s assistant and is the current Director of Music at Inman United Methodist Church.
