Join us for our 32nd annual Hispanic Convocation ceremony and celebrate the academic achievements and graduation of the Class of 2018!

Maricopa Community Colleges has a proud tradition of offering students the opportunity to celebrate graduation through culturally-focused convocations. These smaller, more intimate events are cultural celebrations that affirm our students and reach out to families and friends in a meaningful way.

Convocations are FREE and open to all Maricopa Community Colleges graduates, their friends, families, and all employees are invited to attend any and all of the convocation ceremonies.

Please note: Only graduates need to register. Registration is not required for family, friends, or guests that are attending.

Note: Graduates need to register and denote in their registration the number of guests (family, friends, etc. that will be in attendance). Graduates are asked to be at the venue for check-in no later than 1:15pm.

Parking: Please park in the East Garage (entrance is on corner of 7th street and Washington); once your attendance is confirmed, parking passes will be distributed to CEC and governing board members on May 1st (GB) and May 2nd (CEC meeting)

Agenda: Executive check-in to green room 1:30pm; program runs from 2:00-3:00pm or 3:30pm at the latest

1:15-1:30pm Graduates to arrive at Phoenix Convention Center to sign-in, and line-up for the processional

2:00 Convocation program begins

Family and Friend Attendance: Open seating; please arrive early to find your seats!

Graduate Attire: Please arrive wearing your commencement robe and dress in business casual attire.

Note to Graduates: Please have small children sit with family members
